Today 20th November 18 saw an eventful evening full of drama .An evening at 4 pm near court no 4 Supreme Court of India The venue being e research library named by the authorities under the ageas of Honble Chief Justice of India after the name of Shri Jagadish Swarup former solicitor general of india a name to recon with, a thorough judicious mind , a constitutional wizard, an scholar  inspiration for one and all.
The President SCBA. known for his connections and a smart player decided to replace the great name of late Shri Jagadish Swarup with Late Shri P N Lekhi senior advocate known legal luminary known for his great practice in Delhi High Court, a good move by Mr Singh to make some political mileage  and indirect connections with the 
BJP through Ms Meenakshi Lekni. an MP with the ruling party and Mr Aman Lekhi .A cunning mind of Mr Singh the President thought of multiplying his connections.
Mr Lekhi was lured by Mr Vikas Singh into believing that he would replace the legendary Jagadish Swarup e research library with P N Lekhi e research library. The known fact herein was that Mr Singh started threatening the family of Shri Jagadish Swarup and demanding exorbitant amounts to retain the name and there were exchange of letters between the family and the President and few members of his team in the executive committee of SCBA. But fact remained that no resolution in his favour to exchange of names could come through. No minutes were recorded and Mr Singh felt defeated as the matter got deferred Sina done as the tenure came to an end as election committee took over. Mr Singh did not loose hope and carved out some fake resolution designed by himself and his team without the knowledge of majority of the members even senior members of Executive Committee of supreme court bar association. Taking advantage of his position as President requested along with other known important people of Supreme Court convinced the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India to attend the name changing ceremony on 20 th November at 4 pm to inaugurate the ceremony from Shri Jagadish Swarup to P N Lekhi inspite of the fact that Mr Jagdish Swarup e research library was named by resolutions passed by two Executive Committee s through their resolutions under the leadership of former President SCBA Shri Ram Jethmalani senior advocate former union law minister an eminent criminal lawyer and also under the leadership of Shri late MN Krishnamani senior advocate former president mandated by by the authorities under the agies of hon'ble former Chief Justice of India naming the e research library as Jagadish Swarup be research library.
A ceremony taking place  this evening of 20 th November wherein the bar and bench were invited by Mr Singh for name change ceremony. Dressed in a smart suit and a matching tie the President and his team all dressed to kill waited impatiently for The honble CJI and other hon'ble Judges of Supreme Court of India,
Mr Singh was in for the game changing ceremony, a deceiving event with the bar members queing up for nice high tea unaware of the fraud played upon them blindly followed the President Mr Singh.
Ms Pareena Swarup advocate SC former Hony secretary of SCBA known for her fist and leadership qualities an admiring figure known fondly for her hard work and sincerity among the bench and bar. A very strong personality Pareena Swarup sitting in her chambers thought about  the deceit being played by Mr Singh and his team wrote a Letter to the chief justice of India and went straight amongst the fellow colleagues ,amongst the dressed EC members and requested the Hon'ble CJI not to consider not to inaugurate the function since there was no EC resolution to the effect and majority members of the EC were unaware as to what was happening 
and why the great asset of supreme court was chosen to be replaced. Why would anyone want to change the legendary Shri Jagadish Swarup e research library to some other name of the ruling party. This arbitrary move by Mr Singh was opposed by majority EC Members but he chose to ignore them and arbitrarily moved forward with his vicious plans.
Since Pareena Swarup requested the CJI not to attend the inauguration held by few EC Members, the evening of 20 th November turned into a nightmare for Mr Singh and his team as the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India through his Registrar wrote a letter to the SCBA EC to remove the nameplate of Shri P N Lekhi and he chose not to  inaugurate the ceremony designed by Shri Vikas Singh.
The evening of 20 th November turned into a black evening for Mr Singh and his team and his wrist was properly twisted by Ms Pareena Swarup. The happy team kept smiling till the smile faded into deep lines of doubt and disbelief. They ran to the Honble CJI to request him for his appearance along with his hon'ble fellow brothers but he turned them down saying that he received a letter from Pareena Swarup and he would not attend . 
Mr Singh showed a very sorry figure to the bar and Lekhi Family as well as the Hon'ble judges of SC  .
Mr Vikas Singh has proved to be a loser betraying the bar. He lowered the dignity of the bar and lost the confidence of the bar along with his team members.  He Lost to Ms Pareena Swarup the Hony secretary and a lawyer with a difference.
